Omni Wellness was Co-founded by Scott Andersen and Momoko Uno in 2009. We are a multi- disciplinary alternative medical center with the mission to offer holistic and comprehensive healing modalities to our community. We treat a wide range of health and medical challenges to meet the needs of a our patients in an evolving health care system.

Why Chiropractic and massage Therapy? Dr. Andersen’s 18 years of experience in dealing with sports, training injuries, daily aches and pains from Prolonged positions or repetitive movements, has shown that a combination of Chiropractic and Massage therapy relieves much of the pains derived from muscular-skeletal stresses.

Dr. Andersen has highly talented massage therapists on staff. Treatment plans are set to each patient’s physical conditions, considering pain tolerances and body integrity. The preparation to start reducing joint stress with different styles of massage and manual therapy allows for an easier adjustment that’s more comfortable freeing up any restrictions the neck, lower back, shoulders or hips may have.

Conditions helped: Neck pain, Lower Back pain, Tension Headaches, Sciatica, Nerve pains, Strained/Strained injuries. To name a few.

Qualifications & Background
A bachelor’s in science Degree from the University of Massachusetts with emphasis in biomechanics, kinesiology and therapeutic exercise. A Doctor of Chiropractic and NY State Licensed, gives a solid foundation to diagnose a variety of muscular-skeletal conditions.

Dr. Scott Andersen is the owner and co-founder of Omni Wellness, a multi-disciplinary alternative medicine center providing a wide range of healthcare services including Chiropractic, Therapeutic massage, Acupuncture, Skincare and Hypnotherapy. He’s been a practicing chiropractic for the past 18 years.

With his focus on keeping people pain-free through the theories of chiropractic and therapeutic massage his treatments are conducive to helping a multitude of different injuries that range from mild to severe.

The Omni Wellness clinic goal is to expand the ability to treat a wide range of issues by integrating a multi-disciplinary approach to health and wellness, which is a growing choice of treatment in a constantly changing healthcare system.

Momoko Uno LAc., MSTOM, Dipl CH, BMed, MA

Momoko Uno received her medical degree from Shanghai University of Chinese medicine, specializing in internal medicine in both western and eastern modalities. She also received a masters of Oriental medicine from Samra University and a MA in psychology with an emphasis in consciousness, health and healing from the University of Santa Monica. She has had over 20 years of clinical experience in holistic medicine and has held the position of department chair of clinical studies at Pacific College, in addition to teaching at various colleges.

Shayla has 8 years’ experience with a therapeutic and soothing touch that most often sends her clients to sleep.  She works within your pain tolerance allowing muscles to relax before applying deeper pressure.  This lowers the chance of delayed onset soreness.

Recently Shayla completed the Natural Face Lift Massage clinic that flushes old blood and lymph from the face leaving the face looking rejuvenated and lifted.
